There is a Bible study group for all ages! We invite you to join other Christians in an interactive study of God’s Holy Word in a caring and loving small group atmosphere.

The vision of the Westside Baptist Church Sunday School is to lead people to faith in the Lord Jesus and build Great Commission Christians through Bible study groups that engagepeople in Evangelism, Discipleship, Fellowship, Ministry and Worship.

Adult Department
Purpose:
To lead adults to an understanding of salvation and a growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Objective:
To provide small group bible study for all-aged adults, that each adult may come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of their lives. And to create an atmosphere of Christian fellowship; to transform the Adult class into a ministry as they grow together in the Word of God and in Christian service.

Youth Department
Director: Sis. Rosa Bailey
Purpose:
To encourage teens to participate in Bible Study and lead them to a walk of faith in Jesus Christ.Objectives:
To lead Youth into meaningful Bible study that will lead them into saving faith in Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior; to understand the truths of Scripture as it applies to their daily life and the world they live in.

Children's Department
Purpose:
To teach children the Bible and lead them to an understanding of salvation and faith in Jesus Christ.

Objectives:
To continue laying the spiritual foundation for each child to bring about a genuine conversion experience when he/she is ready and led by the Holy Spirit. Children Sunday School ministry will demonstrate the love of God to children by showing that the church loves them and that going to church is important, exciting and rewarding. Workers will help the children to understand how the knowledge of God’s Word can help them in their daily lives with family and friends.

Children's Departments:
* Younger Children - Grade 1
* Middle Children - Grades 2-3
* Older Children - Grades 4-5
* Pre-Teen - Grade 6

Pre-School Department
Purpose:
To introduce children to the Word of God early in their lives and begin to plant seeds of faith.

Objectives:
To start building the spiritual foundation in children by teaching them about God, family, the church, the world and themselves through Bible thoughts, Bible stories, Bible conversations, songs, and activities.

Pre-School Departments:
* First Contacts - Infants to 18 months
* Toddlers -         18 months to 3 years
* Preschoolers -   4 to 5 years
* Kindergarten -    5 to 6 years, pre-first grader
