WBC
is seeking volunteers in the following areas:
- Audit -- The
Audit Committee will have the sole responsibility for auditing
the affairs of WBC and working with external auditors in
reviewing WBC finance statements. Audit Committee will
make recommendations
for operation efficiencies and risk avoidance first to
Servant Leaders and then to Leadership team (i.e. Pastor
and Deacon
Council)
- Finance Committee -- The
Finance Committee will have the responsibility assisting
with the preparation and review of WBC's
finance statement prior to presentation. The finance committee
will also be jointly responsibility for review/approval
all expenses associated with WBC ministries.
- Facility Committee -- The
Facility Committee will have the responsibility for managing
and operating WBC's
facilities. This will also include the creation of operational
policy and procedures.
- Policy & Procedure (General
Committee) -- The
General Committee will have the responsibility for the
creation of all policy and procedure not assigned to any
other committee.
- Budget Committee -- The
Budget Committee is responsible for the creation of WBC
operational budget and makes recommendation on spending
levels.
- Money Counter -- The
Money Counters are responsible for collecting, counting,
and depositing all funds into an approved WBC bank account.
The
Money Counter has no authority to approved expenditures
or make disbursements.
- Personnel Committee -- The
Personnel Committee is responsible all personnel policy
and procedures, compensation, benefits, and new positions
approval.
- Grant Writing and Planned Giving -- The
Grant Writing Committee will be responsible for writing
grants and locating matching contributions for WBC Ministries.
Additionally,
this committee will work with local vendors/suppliers to
secure donations/contributions to WBC various ministries
activities.
- Marketing and Public Relations -- The
Marketing and Public Relation committee will be responsible
for
creating a marketing
plan
for all WBC external facing ministries; and assist with
the management of WBC image.
